This year Top Gear and Red Bull really have a treat for you!
The Red Bull team are coming to Top Gear Festival and they’re bringing the crème-del-crème of their Red Bull athletes!
But it gets better: they’re bringing not one, not two but FOUR of their most craziest athletes to join the already incredible line-up, all for your viewing pleasure.
Introducing: Brian Capper
This TEN time Supermoto champion is ranked as a legend in the motocross world, and death defying stunts are part of his reputation. Brian Capper is more comfortable on two wheels than he is on his own two feet!
“As long as there’s a camera around, Brian is game for anything, to the point where he decided he’d tried all the obstacles he could do on the ground and took a challenge up in the air and rode over the 105-metre high arch of the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.”
Catch Brian Capper doing his thing this year at the Top Gear Festival!
Introducing: Giniel De Villiers
The Dakar is usually 13 stages, each roughly 800 kilometers long. This translates to around ten grueling hours of getting bashed around the driver’s seat whilst still managing 100% concentration. Giniel De Villiers is the definition of endurance and he sure has tanks full of it!
Another phenomenal Red Bull Athlete to be gracing us at Top Gear Festival, Giniel De Villiers began his career as a track racer, and has four South African Touring Car titles under his helmet. He then turned his attention to off-track pursuits, and went on to winning the South African Off-Road Championship 2011.
Catch him on the tracks at the Festival!
Introducing: Nick De Wit
Nick De Wit’s rise to world stardom started where all FMX careers necessarily do, on the MotoX track. De Wit was one of the FMX pioneers in South Africa and is largely responsible for the strong following that it has in the country today. With the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour making a stop in South Africa, 2013 is bound to be Nick De Wit’s biggest year.
Showing his home fans what he can do against the world’s elite is well deserved for a man who’s never lost a competition on home soil!

Glen Dell took to the skies at age 16 and qualified for his licence whilst still in school.
He is eight-time South African and one-time Advanced World Aerobatic Champion!! It’s this waiver along with his ability to perform an aerobatics display over just about any venue, that’s made him the most sought-after display pilot in South Africa.
Glen Dell, the aerobatic flying god will be at the Top Gear Festival to take the skill of aerobatic displays and flying to new heights.
The Red Bull Athletes promise to bring another level of excitement at this year’s Festival and showcase stunts that few have ever seen live!
