A group of appreciative pupils from JG Zama high school presented Florina Maphalala – known as “Mama 2010” – with a token of appreciation for the entertaining presentation and tour of Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The stadium is a popular destination for school groups and offers free tours to schools on Mondays which has seen thousands of children pass through every week enjoying the architecture, artwork, walking in their hero’s footsteps and picnicking under the trees. Schools from as far as Limpopo and Eastern Cape provinces have made the journey to check out Durban’s playground and icon of pride.
