The December holidays are right around the corner, and for parents, that means one thing: it’s all on you to keep the little ones entertained and happy.
Not to worry. The People’s Park at the Moses Mabhida Stadium has got it all sorted. Not only will the kids be in their element here, the People’s Park Café is the perfect place for mom and dad to unwind too.

Chill out on the deck over coffee and a slice of cake while you watch the kids play. The great thing is, the café overlooks the playground, which was made with energetic toddlers in mind. So while the grownups sit back and relax, the kids can go wild. With swings to swing, slides to slide and things to climb, those little guys will be occupied for hours.
For those who are too cool for climbing frames, there’s something for the bigger kids too. Load up the bikes, get out the longboards, pack the rollerblades and bring the skateboards – the smooth, wide open spaces are a skaters dream.
And with all that running around, the kids are bound to work up a massive appetite. No problem. Just order a People’s Park Café toasted sarmie and milkshake, fill those hungry tummies and let them go off on their own missions again.
With the beach a short walk away and so much to see and do around the stadium, this is the place to be these December holidays. Because the best holidays are the ones spent out of the house, away from the computer and off the couch.
