Eight of S.A.’s hottest talents – a few KZN born-and-bred – took to the ECR Durban Day stage on the 8th of September and treated thousands of Durbanites to a Sunday like no other.
Although the glorious weather Durban’s renowned for was a bit erratic, the combination of a great vibe and a music line-up for the whole family gave Durban Dayers more than enough reason to be at the Moses Mabhida Stadium People’s Park. Big names for the day included the legendary Mango Groove, KZN’s very own Toya Delazy, the always-moving Lira, Mi Casa who brought the house vibes, über-popular Goldfish, another local – Zakes Bantwini, rockers Prime Circle and winners of East Coast Radio’s ‘Be the Band’ competition, The Kickstands.
