The Shisa Nyama Festival is a first for South Africa, so we couldn’t be more excited to be hosting it! Dubbed as the ‘Oktober Fest of Africa’, this event is one not to be missed.
We couldn’t think of a more appropriate event to host over the Heritage Day weekend. The best Shisa Nyama venues will be coming together at People’s Park East to cook their best meals just for us!
While you enjoy traditional South African food, top SA musicians will be hitting the stage for your entertainment! On that note, eat as much as you want because you can just dance it off afterwards. The line-up includes The Dream Team, Veranda Panda and Holly Wasserfall!
To top it all off, we will witness the first ever crowning of SA’s Shisa Nyama Awards winner for the Durban region. If this doesn’t convince you then we don’t know what will!
