As part of the ‘Christmas With Our People’ initiative, the Motsepe Foundation are not only bringing the festive cheer by distributing Christmas gifts to more than 150,000 underprivileged children, they’re also bringing plenty of cheer by hosting star-studded concerts across South Africa.
The Motsepe Foundation Concerts – which have already been held in East London and Polokwane – feature some of the top music artists in the country. These big names include Zahara, Mafikizolo, Mi Casa, Dr Malinga, DJ Cleo, Heavy Kay, Big Nuz, DJ Sbu, Professor, AKA, DJ Zinhle, Ntando, Lulo Café, DJ Kent, DJ Naves and Sphe.
The best part: not only is it for a great cause, you can catch these live performances for free!
The Durban leg of the tour will be held at the People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium on Monday, 16 December. It’s an all day event, kicking off at 10am, and ending at 7pm, and everyone is welcome! So tell the people you want to party with, and make a day of the Motsepe Foundation Concert.
