On Saturday 1 March, Durban ICC plays host to the star-studded 13th annual Metro FM Music Awards. As one of SA’s hottest events, the demand for tickets is through the roof. Despite the massive interest from music-lovers keen to see the crowning of SA’s hottest artists, only 1000 event tickets will be available for the public this year.
To accommodate thousands more fans, an exciting twist has been added to the awards this year. For the first time ever, fans can watch the spectacle at a public viewing area in People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium. This means that 10 000 more music fans will get the chance to be part of the evening with live streaming to big screens.
And after the awards, the viewing area will be the hot and happening official after-party venue! To set the night on fire, nominated artists (including Uhuru, Big Nuz, AKA and Professor) will be joined on stage by some of Metro FM’s most popular DJs such as Oskido, T-bo Touch, DJ Sbu and Amon.
Tickets will range from R150 (general admission) to R450 (VIP) available at Computicket. Tickets can also be bought at the gate for R200 general admission and VIP R550.
