The very first My Art Culture Market is set to hit the Amphitheatre and Imbizo Space this November! This unique event aims to give the youth of Durban a chance to explore the local art sector and potential opportunities. The event will be set up as a market, with each genre having their own space for the audience to explore.
Durban Base Entertainment is the reason for this one of a kind event. The local organisation is calling for all DJ’s, comedians, fashion designers, dancers, performing artists, makeup artists, producers, graphic designers, MC’s, food designers, photographers, videographers and more to share their passion with the community.
“KwaZulu-Natal has a rich history when it comes to art and with phenomena we will prove that KZN still has what it takes to give South Africa and the rest of the world to celebrate too.This project is set to empower the youth and upcoming artists where everyone will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in their respective fields. It is also set to bring everyone together as one with one mindset of celebrating art as one,” says Mluleki Myende, Marketing Manager of Durban Base Entertainment.
