The second annual Youth Hip Hop Festival will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday 2 May, featuring an all star line up of SA Hip Hop Artists and DJ’s, not to mention, the biggest star of the show – US Rapper and Hip Hop Mogul Rick Ross.
The Youth Hip Hop Festival is a collaboration between Richie R Concepts in association with the KZN Provincial Government and the City of Durban. The event’s slogan “Youth Fighting Social Ills by Doing Right” is in line with the City’s hope to educate young people but also empower them to always make the right decision, as mentioned in the official press release by Durban Mayor, James Nxumalo.
This will be the first time that the headlining act, rapper Rick Ross will perform in Durban. Festival organisers expect more than 15 000 people at the stadium for the event.
