Fact Durban Rocks is back with a BANG! For some, this annual event is the highlight of the festive season, for others, the highlight of the entire year! Over 15 000 people from all over SA gather to bring in the new year not only in the coolest city in the country, but at it’s most iconic venue too.
#FDR, as it’s referred by it’s thousands of fans and ambassadors, boasts the biggest artist line-up in South African House, Hip Hop and Kwaito over two massive stages and several other entertainment areas. The main stage goes live with SABC1’s Come Duze show from 9pm till 1am with a new act performing every 20 to 30 minutes. This high rotation of only the best artists is what keeps 3 million people glued to their seats, watching the action and performances as they unfold live from Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Of course, nothing compares to the feeling of being there on the night, rubbing shoulders with celebrities, dancing with friends, watching the spectacular fireworks show at midnight and making lifelong memories under the stars.
