Whilst the rest of the country are unpacking long johns, electric blankets and stocking up on wood for their fireplaces, Durban is getting ready for the best season of the year, and what us Durbanites like to refer to as Durban Fun Season.
You see, unlike our colder counterparts, Durban Winters are filled with sunny days and great waves, accompanied by some of the best annual events on the South African calendar. With an average temperature of 23 degrees, the Durban winter season lures the rest of the country out of it’s icy grip and into the warm Indian ocean, more than likely sans wetsuits.
With so many exciting activities, exclusive deals and amazing travel packages, there really is no better place to be.
